The obverse bearsthe effigy of His Majesty King Charles IIl, the issuing country St. Helena, the denominationthe weight, fineness, and the year 2023. The reverse of the silver coin bar features an East IndiaCompany sailing ship, the most magnificent vessels of the era. Above the ship is the chop markof the East India Company and in the background nautical sailing lines.
